Lead UDR Responsibilities
In addition to their UDR responsibilities to their department/program, Lead UDRs are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Meet as a group with UDR Program staff (Elaine Wong and Joan Tarkulich) to discuss UDR initiatives/training concerns.
- Help organize a group of UDRs, by Arts and Sciences division, that will meet with the Division Heads to discuss issues across their division (e.g., instruction in core courses, equity and inclusion, and accessibility issues)
- Collaborate with the Student Union Director of Academic Affairs in representing student concerns to senior administration
- Provide email and in person consultation with UDRs in their division/school
- Help facilitate departmental/program joint collaboration and programming
- Help facilitate a university wide UDR advising session organized by the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences
- Contribute to branding and social media presence for UDRs
- Help select recipients of UDR grants
- Help advertise UDR sponsored events in their division
- Support UDR training initiatives
