About Dominique Jackson

Dominique Jackson, best known for her iconic presence as Elektra in the FX series Pose, is a model, actress, and author. Strong, strident, and stunning on the show, she brings depth and range of character as the reigning queen of ballroom. Her advocacy of Trans rights and her outreach to the LGBTQ+ community break new ground in the fight for social justice.

All these qualities make her a natural as a guest at Brandeis. Our FTIM program, which has featured talents such as Kate Beckinsale, Tony Goldwyn, Oscar Isaac, Melissa Leo, Sam Rockwell, Mark Ruffalo, Tony Shalhoub, and Kerry Washington, welcomes the opportunity to engage Dominique in conversation about ballroom, her craft, Pose and #BlackTransLivesMatter.
