Dear Students,

The Office of Graduate Affairs warmly welcomes you to the Brandeis Community!

We have created online resources that can help you prepare for your time at Brandeis prior to arrival. Please log in to Moodle Communities using your Brandeis username (the first part of your Brandeis email address) and password.

There are eleven mini-courses available under the title “Graduate Student Resources and Information;” each will open on a weekly schedule throughout the summer and then remain open and available during your time at Brandeis.

Moving to a new region while starting graduate school can be a major adjustment, but this module is designed to smooth out the learning curve. Discover what to expect from New England culture, learn the ropes of the local transit system, and find out how to balance higher academic expectations.

Tailored specifically for our global community, this module highlights the dedicated networks, compliance guidance, and cultural resources available to international scholars. Learn how to successfully navigate immigration logistics, adjust to life in the U.S., and access specialized on-campus advising.

Information Security Basics (asynchronous virtual Moodle Communities course)

This module covers vital cyber-safety practices, campus Wi-Fi setups, and data security protocols to keep your research and identity secure.

You will review university policies regarding federally protected categories and explore available wellness and prevention resources.
