[Re]Commencement 2022

General

  • Parking: Commencement guests may park at any university parking lot on Commencement day. Shuttle bus transportation will be available on campus and from the Charles River Road parking lot. On Commencement day, all Gosman Center parking lots will be closed for general use. 
  • Public Transportation Options: Take the MBTA’s Fitchburg/South Acton commuter line to Brandeis/Roberts stop.
  • For questions about guests with disabilities, please contact University Events at 781-736-4300.
  • Questions about the [Re]Commencement ceremony or celebration can be directed to alumni@brandeis.edu.

Tickets

  • You should now have received an email with detailed information about ordering tickets and regalia. If you have not received this email, please contact the alumni office. Please note, you will want to use the email address you registered for [Re]Commencement with when completing your ticket and regalia forms.
  • Tickets will be distributed digitally. You must order regalia through a system called MarchingOrders because it will serve as your “official RSVP” for [Re]Commencement. E-tickets will only be distributed to 2020 and 2021 graduates who have ordered regalia.
  • You may bring two guests to the main [Re]Commencement Ceremony.
  • No guests may be brought to the Celebration at Time Out Market due to space availability at the venue.

Regalia

  • The ticket and regalia ordering system is not yet available. The link will be posted here once it is available. 
  • Regalia for [Re]Commencement is handled through an online system called MarchingOrders tied to tickets to the event. Regalia must be ordered in order to receive your e-tickets to the Ceremony and Celebration.
  • Regalia will be provided free of charge by the Alumni Association. 
  • Regalia is borrowed, so it must be returned after the [Re]Commencement Ceremony. A drop box for your regalia will be located near the Main [Re]Commencement Ceremony.

[Re]Commencement Ceremony

  • [Re]Commencement ceremony begins on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 5:00PM in the Gosman Auditorium.
  • Line up will be behind Gosman at 5:40. When you are in line up, someone will scan a GradPass you have been assigned digitally when you register. If you aren’t scanned, your name will not be called during the ceremony.
  • Tickets will be distributed digitally. You may bring two guests to the main ceremony.

[Re]Commencement Celebration

  • After the ceremony, a celebration will be held at Time Out Market in the Fenway area. This celebration is open to only 2020 and 2021 graduates.
  • Transportation will be provided. Buses will leave Brandeis immediately following the ceremony and will leave Time Out Market at 11:00PM.
  • Graduates will receive drink tickets and a dining card to get dinner from any of the vendors in the Time Out Market.
