Keep Brandeis healthy sign

Each year, respiratory viruses are responsible for millions of illnesses and thousands of hospitalizations and deaths in the United States. In addition to the virus that causes COVID-19, there are many other types of respiratory viruses, including flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). We all play a critical role in the promotion of health, prevention of disease and empowerment of individuals to manage illness and disabilities.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Policy Statement

Brandeis University strongly recommends that all students, faculty, and staff remain up to date with the most recent seasonal influenza (flu) and COVID-19 vaccinations. These recommendations align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The 2025–2026 CDC seasonal vaccine guidance has not yet been released. This policy will be reviewed and updated accordingly when new CDC guidelines become available.

COVID-19 and flu vaccines will be available to students right on campus. Reserve your spot in advance to ensure availability.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms, please follow cdc recommendations. If you have questions or need additional assistance call the Health Center @ 781-736-3677 to schedule an appointment to be seen in our Respiratory Unit
