Keep Brandeis healthy sign

Each year, respiratory viruses are responsible for millions of illnesses and thousands of hospitalizations and deaths in the United States. In addition to the virus that causes COVID-19, there are many other types of respiratory viruses, including flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). We all play a critical role in the promotion of health, prevention of disease and empowerment of individuals to manage illness and disabilities.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Policy

Data continue to show the importance of vaccination to protect against severe outcomes of COVID-19 and flu, including hospitalization and death.  In accordance to the 2024-2025 guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Brandeis University strongly recommends that all members of the Brandeis community stay up to date with the most recent Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations in order to safeguard their own health and the health of our employees, students, and campus community.

The updated COVID-19 and flu vaccines will be available at the Health Center for Brandeis students later this fall. Vaccination is not required but recommended.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms, please call the front desk @ 781-736-3677 to schedule an appointment to be seen in our Respiratory Unit
