Profile
In her full-time role, Deryn is the East Division Director of Incident Response at ADL (Anti-Defamation League), where she oversees the organization's response to antisemitic incidents, and other incidents of hate, in the Northeast United States. In this role, she synthesizes regional incident response with divisional resources and capacity, while identifying strategies to streamline and systematize antisemitic incident response divisionally and regionally. She also served as the Associate Regional Director at ADL New England in Boston where she managed incident response, event programming, the regional internship program, community partnerships, and was the lead event planner for The Good Fight Forum for Confronting Antisemitism, the yearly ADL conference in Boston.
Deryn is a 2018 graduate of the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program (MBA/MA). She has a master's concentration in Israel education from the iCenter for Israel Education in Chicago and is a former resident of Haifa, Israel. Before ADL, over the last ten years, Deryn held a variety of leadership roles at Epstein Hillel School, Wellesley College Hillel, and Birthright Israel: Yael Adventures.
