Profile
Tom Rose, PhD, joined the Hornstein Program in 2020 as instructor of Human Resources Management in Jewish NonProfits. This course considers general principles of HRM and their application to Jewish and other non-profit organizations. Rose is a clinical psychologist who has worked as a consultant and HR executive in the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds. He has published several articles and a book. His professional interest focuses on how three factors—high impact leadership behavior, a work environment of client/customer-focused innovation and agile work design—work together to help organizations and their members thrive in periods of “white water” turbulence. Rose has served on the Board of the congregation of which he and his family have been members for more than 25 years.
