The Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs serves as a central resource for the Brandeis community. Additionally, the office provides information for families, opportunities for students to voice their opinions on pressing campus matters, and moments for the community to come together with a shared school spirit.
The Care Team works to promote the safety and health of all Brandeis students by evaluating and addressing student behavior that is concerning, and coordinating university resources to intervene and provide necessary supports.
The Dean of Students Office serves the needs and interests of students, working directly with the offices of Student Activities, Community Service, and Student Rights and Community Standards to assist students through academic, personal, safety and family concerns.
The Department of Student Rights and Community Standards aims to educate the campus about issues central to the mission of the institution, and to react to inappropriate behavior in a fair and responsive manner. The staff provides education and outreach efforts regarding alcohol and other drug use, student involvement on campus and leadership development.
