Introduction to Workday
Workday is Brandeis University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Information system. We use this software to manage payroll, specific financial transactions, certain grant functionality, hiring and recruiting, benefits management, student stipends, and student records among other tasks and reports.
Anyone receiving payment through Brandeis' payroll office will have an employee - or "worker" - profile in Workday. This includes students with on campus hourly jobs and stipends. These students will essentially have two, linked profiles in Workday - a student record and a worker record.
