Waltham Group President
Kim Ligon is a senior from Long Island New York double majoring in Education Studies & Psychology and minoring in Hispanic Studies. Kim is entering her fifth semester as a coordinator for Kids Connection, a House 4 Program. Kim has served as the 2020-2021 Volunteer Engagement Coordinator and plans to still be actively involved in volunteer recruitment events as well as volunteer appreciation and recognition events throughout the year. Kim is excited to be in this role and hopes to reach all of the BIPOC and other marginalized volunteers to make Waltham Group as inclusive as it can be. She wants to listen to and act on the needs of these students and she knows that with the help of her team, that can happen!

Waltham Group Vice President
Lhaden is a junior from New York City majoring in Biology and minoring in HSSP and Mathematics. She is a coordinator for Teaching Assistants in Public Schools (TAPS) where she places Brandeis students into Waltham Public School classrooms where they help teachers by working with students, in groups or one-on-one. As Vice President, she oversees the Waltham Group budget while working closely with the Student Union President, the Allocations Board, the Waltham Group President and Advisor to make sure there is available funding for individual Waltham Groups to host projects that help achieve their program’s mission. As VP, she is also dedicated to supporting the growth of Waltham Group as an inclusive and uplifting organization as we share resources with similarly-aligned Brandeis intercultural and service clubs. She is also a member of the Quantitative Biology Research Community (QBReC) and is currently working on a public health paper concerning enhanced patient risk adjustment at Stonybrook Medicine.

Community and Social Justice Coordinator
Emory is a junior from Boxborough, MA majoring in HSSP and Anthropology. She has volunteered with Waltham Group since her first semester at Brandeis and is currently a coordinator for Prospect Hill Kids' Club, where she helps run an after-school program for kids grades K-8. As Community and Social Justice Coordinator, she is so excited to work with EBoard and programs to design and hold CAPs throughout the year, hold Waltham Group accountable in advocacy and social justice, and ensure that we continue to reflect upon our mission statements and community partnerships. Outside of Waltham Group, she is a member of BEMCo and loves to bake, listen to music, and watch Grey's Anatomy (no spoilers please).

Isabel Savine is a senior from Waltham, MA majoring in Biology with minors in Psychology, English and Creative Writing. Isabel serves as a coordinator for General Tutoring, and has participated in a wide variety of other Waltham Group programs throughout her time at Brandeis starting in her first semester. As the Community Building coordinator, Isabel hopes to continue to strengthen the internal bonds between Waltham Group programs to ultimately strengthening the quality of programming and activity Waltham Group has to offer outwardly. She is so excited to be working alongside the rest of Eboard this year to help facilitate growth and progress within the Waltham Group program network!

Nirupa Abraham is a senior from Walpole, MA majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Computer Science. She has been a coordinator for Blood Drive since her second semester. As House 1 Rep, Nirupa supports the Health and Human Services programs, connects them to E-board, and plans programming for all coordinators. Outside of Waltham Group, Nirupa is involved in BeWiSE and has worked at the WSRC and COVID testing programs

I am Zoe. I am a Junior majoring in Sociology with minors in Education Studies and Business. I have been volunteering with TAPS since my first semester at Brandeis and a coordinator 2 years! I am involved with Education for Students by Students on campus and spend a lot of time working with outside organizations focused on educational equity and progressive legislation. Outside of academics and volunteering, I love to bake, sit at the ocean and find new shows on Netflix. I also talk about being from NYC a lot so I am sorry in advance! I am thrilled to begin helping connect our coordinators in house two and work on this years E-Board.

Kaleigh Yee (she/her) is a junior majoring in Environmental Studies with two minors in Chemistry and HSSP. Kaleigh is a proud member of the habifam, but as the House Three Representative, she will also support Community Connections, Service Without Borders, Hunger and Homelessness, Habitat for Humanity, and Symbiosis. As House Rep, Kaleigh hopes to encourage collaborations between programs that capitalize on the intersections between the issues we address. The other thirds of Kaleigh's personality are being a Community Advisor (shoutout to the Mosie staff) and working at Lemberg's Children Center :)!

Irina is a sophomore from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Eager to start volunteering, she joined both Junior Brandeis Achievers (JBA) and General Tutoring in the Fall semester of her first year. Irina then became a coordinator for JBA last spring. Irina works with the other House Reps to plan Waltham Group Team Day and weekly coordinator meetings. As House 4 Rep, Irina also supports and unifies the programs in House 4 which all offer after school programing at Waltham schools. Outside of Waltham Group, Irina has trained in various styles of dance. She is looking forward to finally being on campus this year!
