She served as an Undergraduate Departmental Representative for the Economics Department and was a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Econ Statistics. Vicky chose to major in Economics because of an interest in pricing and financial markets. The economics department at Brandeis not only provided her with a solid theoretical background but has also advanced her analytical skills in academic research and business cases. Vicky has worked with professors from both the economics department and the Heller school on data analytics.
This past summer she worked at an insurance firm as an actuarial analyst. Vicky is planning to go to graduate school for financial mathematics or financial engineering.
