HAWP Programs and Services
HAWP offers a number of workshops, presentations and trainings to the campus community. HAWP is happy to adapt or design a custom workshop, presentation or training to meet your needs.
HAWP and the Brandeis Counseling Center (BCC) are partnering with The Body Positive to bring their innovative program to our community. Body Positive Brandeis offers a group curriculum addressing body image, intuitive self-care, and community building, as well as opportunities for community members to become trained facilitators of the program.
ProjectConnect is a peer-facilitated program that helps students meet and get to know students outside of their social group, and build stronger community on campus.
BTW peer leaders educate and empower students to prioritize well-being and practice healthy decision making around substance abuse, stress management, nutrition, fitness and mental health. BTW works to increase access and strengthen connections between students and campus resources. Through workshops, training and communications, BTW strives to enhance the student experience at Brandeis for all.
As a component of Brandeis' Health, Wellness, and Life Skills Core curriculum requirement, all first year students must complete HWL 1 Navigating Health and Safety. This requirement consists of two parts:
