Leah Berkenwald
Leah Berkenwald ’07
Director of Health Promotion and Wellness Initiatives

Leah holds a master's in Health Communication from Emerson College in collaboration with the Tufts University School of Medicine, as well as a master's in American Studies from the University of Nottingham. She earned her Bachelor's in American Studies with a minor in Journalism at Brandeis in 2007.

Leah currently serves on the New England College Health Association Board of Trustees, and is an active member of the American College Health Association and the New England Health Educator Network. In her spare time she enjoys improv, hiking and creative writing.

Sarah holds a master's in higher education administration from Boston College and a bachelor's in communications from the University of Delaware. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and snowboarding.

Hello, I'm Rebecca Deng and I'm a junior majoring in Biology. I'm passionate about advocating for mental health resources and creating supportive spaces, especially for those on the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ spectrums. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, drawing, playing badminton and swimming.

Gavrilla Wicaksono

HAWP Intern

Gavrila Wicaksono '26 is a junior majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. As a HAWP Intern, she is excited to promote student well-being through social media, research, and community engagement. Outside of HAWP, Gavrila is the Secretary of Brandeis Southeast Asia Club, a math tutor through Waltham Group General Tutoring, and a Special Volunteer at NIH NCATS studying potential osteosarcoma therapies. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, playing trombone and piano, and listening to classical music.
