Leah Berkenwald
Leah Berkenwald ’07
Director of Health Promotion and Wellness Initiatives

Leah holds a master's in Health Communication from Emerson College in collaboration with the Tufts University School of Medicine, as well as a master's in American Studies from the University of Nottingham. She earned her Bachelor's in American Studies with a minor in Journalism at Brandeis in 2007.

Leah currently serves on the New England College Health Association Board of Trustees, and is an active member of the American College Health Association and the New England Health Educator Network. In her spare time she enjoys improv, hiking and creative writing.

Sarah Hall
Program Coordinator

Sarah holds a master's in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and a bachelor's in Communications from the University of Delaware. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and snowboarding.

Blair earned her M.B. from Capital Medical University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Boston University with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is passionate about chronic and non-communicable disease prevention as well as health promotion. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and just hanging out with friends and family.

Michelle is a senior majoring in Health: Science, Society, and Policy and Neuroscience. She is looking forward to serving the Brandeis community by helping to promote and spread awareness about health and wellness. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, going for walks, hiking, playing piano, and painting.

Erickson is a first generation college student from the Dominican Republic double majoring in Health: Science, Society, and Policy and International and Global Studies. He is very passionate about working with nonprofits and making a positive impact in his community. He thrives to improve and learn new skills in data analysis and research methods in order to better serve the needs of his community. In his free time, he reads books from shows he has already watched and he loves to eat chocolate and socialize with friends.

Anne is a junior majoring in Health: Science, Society, and Policy and Violin Performance. She also plans on pursuing a minor in Computer Science. She is excited to work on health promotion initiatives and make a meaningful impact on the Brandeis community. Outside of academics, she enjoys exploring different genres of music, folding origami, and writing.
