Requesting a Leave of Absence
To request a leave of absence:

Login to Workday.

Click the cloud icon at the top of the page and select "Home."

Under "Applications," click the "Absence" icon.

Under "Request," click "Request Absence."

Click on the "Select Date Range" button.

Enter the start and end dates of your requested leave (you may estimate the end date if it is unknown), and then click on the "Type" dropdown menu and select "Leave of Absence," followed by "FMLA."

Click the "Next" button.

Under "Details," click the "Reason" dropdown menu and select the option that corresponds to your request for leave.

Click the "Submit" button.

You will receive your FMLA paperwork in your Workday inbox within five business days.
