Access the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) submission tool here.

• To confirm your employment status, PSLF forms can be submitted to either your supervisor OR humanresources@brandeis.edu 
• To ensure your submission is being addressed in a timely manner (and not stuck in our spam!) please email humanresources@brandeis.edu upon submitting your form with the PSLF website.
• Please allow for 2 business days for HR to complete the form. 

1. Provide the verifier with your employer code (18284) and Social Security number.
2. Direct the verifier to The Work Number website.

The Work Number is a fast and secure way to provide proof of your employment or income — a necessary step in many of today’s life events involving credit, financing or securing of benefits or services. The Work Number simplifies the verification process and accelerates credit decisions through an online system available to verifiers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

1. Point your browser to www.theworknumber.com.
2. Click the "Employee" link in the main menu at top of page.
3. Click the "Log In" button.
4. Enter "Brandeis University" in the field, and then click the search (magnifying glass) button.
5. You should see a drop-down box that displays Brandeis' name, address and employer code. Click in the box on "Brandeis University" to highlight the text. Then click the red "Select Employer" button.
6. First-time users: In the "Register Now" box, click the link "Click here to register." Then complete the multipage form by filling in all the relevant fields.
   
   Returning users: If you've recently logged into the application, you will log in as usual with your same username and password. Once you've logged in, you will be prompted to create a persona.

Follow these instructions to generate a salary key — a single-use, six-digit code — that you can provide to a verifier as consent to access your income information:

1. Click "Prove Income to Verifiers."
2. Click "Create Salary Key."
3. Click "New Salary Key."
4. The new salary key can be printed or emailed with instructions for the verifier on how to use it through The Work Number. Alternatively, the salary key itself can be provided to the verifier along with your employer name or code and your Social Security number. Note At any point, select the "Salary Key Activity" link to view the status (used, unused, expired) of keys you have created.

(Mortgage lenders, pre-employment, property leasing, credit cards, etc.)

1. Visit The Work Number website.
2. Click the red "Log In" button at the top of the page and select "Commercial Verifier" from the dropdown menu.
3. Provide employer name or code: Brandeis University.
4. Provide employer code: 18284.
5. Provide employee's Social Security number.

(Medicaid, SSI/SSDI, SNAP, TANF, child support, public housing, etc.)

1. Visit The Work Number website.
2. Click the red "Log In" button at the top of the page and select "Social Service Verifier" from the dropdown menu.
3. Provide employer name or code: Brandeis University.
4. Provide employer code: 18284.
5. Provide employee's Social Security number.
