Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, the Lois Zetter ’60 Theater Arts Scholarship has been endowed, with more than $51,000 raised as of June 30. The scholarship will provide a permanent legacy in memory of Lois and support theater students who might not otherwise be able to afford a Brandeis education. If you are interested in contributing to the scholarship, contact Lisa Fleischman at 781-736-4062 or lfleisch@brandeis.edu, or make your gift online at giving.brandeis.edu. All gifts are appreciated and will make a difference.

Suzanne Hodes’ husband, Brandeis chemistry professor Henry Linschitz, passed away late last year. She writes, “I miss him terribly. He was my most steadfast friend, lover and supporter, and a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle and grandfather. When we had a family celebration for his 95th birthday, I asked him if he had any advice about how to make it to 95. He thought for a moment and said, ‘First, you have to make it to 94.’” Suzanne donated two paintings to Goldfarb Library in memory of Henry; they are hanging one level down from the circulation desk, next to Archives and Special Collections.
