Class Correspondent

After graduation, Allie Alexander worked at Disney World for four months. She is pursuing a career in stage management. She has twice worked at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest theater festival in the world, first as a production assistant and more recently as a company manager/co-stage manager. Lisbeth Dejesus teaches at a public middle school in Lawrence, Mass. She writes, “I absolutely love what I do, especially because I am helping my community to grow. When I was majoring in international and global studies, and sociology at Brandeis, I never thought my true passion would be working in the field of urban education.” Ben Gartenstein lives in the Washington, D.C., area and works as an audio-visual technician at the World Bank. He is pursuing a master’s degree in audio technology. Jacob Lurie, who lives in New York City, is working toward his MD/MPH at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as a dean’s scholar in global health.
