Martin Diaz III married Antonia Henry, a colorectal surgery fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Martin is a direct-sales specialist in Comcast’s Needham, Mass., office. Lana Gladstein joined Nutter McClennen & Fish as a partner in intellectual property. Her practice, informed by her expertise in life sciences, focuses on strategic uses of intellectual property for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, including patent litigation, contested proceedings at the U.S. Patent Office and product exclusivity guidance. Lindsey Markus, who joined Chuhak & Tecson as a law clerk 10 years ago, was elevated from principal to shareholder. She is the first woman to be named shareholder at the Chicago firm. Lindsey leads Chuhak’s estate-planning and asset-protection group, which consists of 22 attorneys. She has written more than 40 articles and presented some 75 seminars about estate-planning, wealth-protection, corporate-law and income-tax issues. Lisa Goddard McGuirk completed her first academic year as director of athletics at Gannon University, a Division II school in Erie, Pa. The former athletic director at Cedar Crest College is working to create a more fun and inclusive atmosphere around all of Gannon’s sporting events. She also hopes to implement the Step Up Program, an initiative in which students pledge to be proactive in helping other students. Andrew Share was named managing partner at the Manchester, N.H., office of Nixon Peabody, an international law firm with more than 700 attorneys across 17 offices.
