Summer Study Abroad

Candice Jiang in China
Candice Jiang '19 spent her summer in Kunming, China studying Chinese and traditional Chinese medicine.

Studying abroad during the summer can be an excellent academic opportunity. A summer program is also an alternative for those who are not able to study abroad during the academic year.

There are many ways to spend your summer, why not spend it in another country accomplishing academic and professional goals? Such as:

  • An academic internship
  • Completing major/minor requirements
  • Fulfilling general university requirements
  • Improving foreign language skills or completing a foreign language requirement in that culture

Come to a study abroad event or meet with an advisor to learn more about what other students have done in previous summers.
