Michaela Spampinato
Michaela received her MFA in creative writing (fiction) from New Mexico State University and her BA in English and Spanish from Wesleyan University. Her book, Who I Thought You Were, is available from The Permanent Press. Her nonfiction essays have appeared in Bay State Parent and The Longfellow Bridge. She has also written for various online story applications. She is at work on her second novel.
As Budget and Operations Administrator, Michaela oversees the daily operations of the center and all of its programs, primarily responsible for event planning and implementation, budget administration, the center's monthly newsletter, and other administrative support for our staff. With a background in grant and gift financial management, Michaela seeks to leverage her narrative skills in concert with her passion for community and civic engagement to help repair the world.
