Tony Thein
From all the way across town, Tony comes to Brandeis from Bentley University where he earned both a BS in accountancy and Master in Business Administration (MBA). During his time at Bentley, Tony sought out numerous opportunities to support the Greater Waltham community through the Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE) where he served as a graduate assistant, lead program manager for the Prospect Hill Afterschool Program, and volunteer income tax preparer with the Bentley Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.
Most recently, Tony has joined the Board of Directors of the Prospect Hill Community Foundation, an organization that sponsors a free afterschool program in one of Waltham's largest low-income housing communities, where he will serve as treasurer.
As Senior Program Coordinator, Tony oversees the daily operations of the center and all of its programs, primarily responsible for event planning and implementation, budget administration, and other administrative support for our staff. With a rich background in terms of business acumen and community engagement, Tony seeks to leverage his financial and operational skills in concert with his passion for community and civic engagement to help repair the world.
