Join Dr. Lino Dias of Bayer AG to learn how a large global corporation can use sustainable and scalable models in farming to positively transform rural communities and help address global challenges.
Dr. Dias will speak about the Better Life for Farming (BLF) alliance that provides farmers with access to essential resources, knowledge, and technology, helping them to enhance productivity and sustainability. The initiative operates through nearly 3000 centers across various countries, reaching over 1 million farmers. By promoting best practices in farming and facilitating access to markets, BLF seeks to empower farmers, improve food security, and contribute to rural development.

About Lino Dias:
Lino Dias is the VP for Global Strategy on Fruits for Bayer AG. Dr. Dias received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Portugal. In 2018, he started the Better Life Farming (BLF) alliance, a consortium from Bayer and partners from public and private sectors, launched in 2018. BLF is a sustainable and profitable business model currently active in seven low- to middle-income countries with close to 3000 centers, reaching more than 1 million farmers.
