MATH 22 Placement Exam
Students who are interested in Math 22a, "Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus" are required to take a placement exam. An interested student should take Part C of the Calculus Placement Exam and then take the Math 22a Placement Exam. More information may be found on the Registrar's page. If you have any questions, contact Professor Dmitry Kleinbock.
Answers to the placement exam for Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus should be entered on the form below. For the multiple choice problems, just enter the correct letter choice for your answer; note that you may wish to enter more than one letter choice in problem 7. When you have completed the exam, you should provide the additional information requested at the end. The exams will be graded by the mathematics department. After you have taken the exam, you should request an override in Work Day (see the Job Aid "Request Prerequisite Override or Permission to Enroll" under the Planning and Registration section). If your test results place you in 22a, an override would be provided. If your test results place you in Math 15a, you will be asked to enroll in Math 15a instead.
Items marked with a red asterisk are required. If you submit with a required field left blank, it will return an error and your browser might not store the values you entered.
