2025 Updates

Pay Application Replaced

September 20, 2025

The Pay Application (also referred to as a worklet) has been removed.

This change will affect all personnel receiving compensation through Brandeis.

Users will now find all the information regarding payroll and tax information usually found in the Pay Application in the Benefits and Pay Application as seen below.

Visit our Get to Know your Workday Homepage job aid for more information.

Updated Absence Calendar in Workday

September 20, 2025

Staff and faculty who use absence functionality in Workday now have an updated absence calendar function.

It's now easier to request time off in Workday. You can review the new request process in our Manage Time Off job aid.

Quick Tasks have Moved

Quick Tasks, the common tasks most users perform in Workday, used to be located to the right of your screen or below your "Awaiting Actions" tasks on the Workday home screen (depending on your screen settings).

You can now find quick tasks just above the "Awaiting Actions" box on your Workday home screen. You can review how to navigate our Workday Homepage. This change affects all Workday users.

Academic Progress Troubleshooting Console

September 20, 2025

Academic Advisers, department administrators, and undergraduate advising heads will now have access to a console to help troubleshoot issues with a student's academic progress.

The troubleshooting console provides transparency and gives advisors a better way to examine how Workday applies a student's course registrations towards their academic requirements.
