Class Correspondent

All the plans being made for the new Alumni Weekend suit the Class of 1952! We look forward to gathering again on June 8-10 and can’t wait to see members of the three classes with whom we shared the small campus and many memories. Please reserve the dates now. A personal note: I was pleased to vote for Sarah Bloom Raskin, daughter of Arlene and Herbert Bloom, when she ran for a seat on the board of the Vanguard Group.

Bunny Spector Duhl has moved to San Francisco. Lois Lindauer celebrated the 20th anniversary of Lois L. Lindauer Searches, the executive search company she founded, which recruits and places more development and advancement leaders than any other agency in the world. Leonard Russman left his Maine summer home for Connecticut after our 60th Reunion and called to convey best wishes to the class. Thirty-five members of Joan and Gene Saklad’s family have been invited to a reunion on Cape Cod in June, coming from such places as California and Israel. Caroline Shaffer Westerhof gave a talk, “The Media Jungle,” at the Southeastern Conference for Public Administration. A communications specialist for both broadcast and newsprint journalism, Caroline has acted as a watchdog in the use and implementation of media.
