Class Correspondent

 

I graduated from Fordham Law School, where I received the Eugene Keefe Award for contribution to the law-school community, and passed the Connecticut Bar exam. I’m currently working as an associate at Shipman & Goodwin as part of its business litigation practice.

Leah Bartels is an associate producer on “Finding Your Roots” on PBS. She keeps the Brandeis spirit alive by living with two roommates who are both named Rachel. Matt Callahan was named assistant director of recreation and club sports at Tufts. Russell Foxworthy is in his second year of the MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. After he graduates in June, he will work as a product manager at Grubhub in Chicago. Dafna Gamzeh is manager of new business at insurance consulting firm Risk Strategies Co., where she has worked for four years. She and her husband, Liron, opened a new dental practice, and they are expecting their second child in the spring. Kelsey Grab got engaged in the fall and plans to move to Seattle. She will graduate with a master’s in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in May. In what may be Katherine Kolios’ boldest move yet, she has relocated to New Hampshire without a car. She’s delighted to be working with Rain for the Sahel and Sahara while splitting her time between Portsmouth and Niger. Nora Mitnick recently bought a house like the apparent adult that she is, got a baby bearded dragon and two kittens to go inside the house, and began a new job in an inpatient rehab facility for men and women struggling with addictions. Evan Rabin is living in his hometown of New York and focusing on his chess business, Premier Chess, which conducts private lessons and school programs nationwide. Ali and Ari Salinger, who live in Newton, Massachusetts, welcomed Princess Sofia Brisket, their new puppy. Ali works at Northeastern University as an administrative coordinator, and Ari does “sciency” things in a collaboration between UMass Medical School and Boston College.
