Ralph Propper is president of the Environmental Council of Sacramento. The group has filed a lawsuit against the state of California over its plans to expand a downtown freeway rather than expand public transit. Ina Weitzman spends summer and winter months in San Diego, and fall and spring months in New Jersey. Despite all the traveling, she maintains a small psychology practice, aided by Skype and other technologies, and says she always has time for classmates on either coast.
