Azeez Aranmolate, MS’08, who graduated from Stony Brook University with a PhD in molecular and cellular biology, has moved to Los Angeles. When he’s not busy beaching it up or doing motorcycle runs up and down the Pacific Coast Highway, he can be found living the postdoctoral researcher life at UCLA. Jason and Rachel Goldsmith had a daughter, Tessa Rose, in April. Jessie and Ryan Pressman, and their son, Spencer, made the move uptown to Hudson Heights in NYC. They would love to connect with any alumni in the area. In September, Erica (Friedman) Remi joined the Asperger/Autism Network in Watertown, Massachusetts, as director of development. Previously, she worked at Year Up in a similar role. Erica lives in Newtonville with her husband, Sebastian, and their two children, Emma Rose, 3, and Noah Richard, 1. Miriam Schoenfield joined the faculty of the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at MIT, where she received her PhD in philosophy in 2012. She previously worked at the University of Texas at Austin and NYU. Although her research is focused primarily in epistemology, she also has interests in meta-ethics and decision theory. Ilana Snapstailer, MA’07, and her husband, Avner Fink ’04, welcomed son Israel (“Izzy”) Nechemiah on Aug. 21. Andrew Weichert married Steven Bertozzi on Aug. 19 in the courtyard at the Boston Public Library. Andrew is a staff gynecologic oncologist at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, in Burlington, Massachusetts. He completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Cleveland Clinic in June. Steven is a middle-school social-studies teacher at Milton Academy. Ben Woodring serves as law clerk for a judge on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
