Jeremy Frisch proposed to Alison Channon in April, and they are planning a wedding in their hometown of Chicago in May. Despite their both living in North Quad their freshman year, Alison and Jeremy did not meet until a year after graduation, when Jeremy almost ran into Alison on his bicycle in Washington, D.C. The two now live in San Francisco. Miriam Ganem-Rosen and Cory Julie ’07 are back living in Washington, D.C., after backpacking in Asia in 2016. Cory works at Booz Allen Hamilton, and Miriam is employed by the human-development nonprofit FHI 360. Arielle Kaplan married David Warshaw in Salem, Massachusetts, on Sept. 7. Bridesmaid Elizabeth Abbate signed the ketubah. Rebecca Pollack ’98, Arielle’s cousin, also attended. After several years as an assistant district attorney, Ryan McRae is an attorney at Nigro, Pettepit & Lucas, in Wakefield, Massachusetts. He specializes in family law (divorce, paternity, modification, prenuptial and custody) and probate (estate litigation, wills, estate planning and trusts), with some additional work in landlord/tenant law, civil actions and criminal defense. Danielle Saly married Michael Flaherty on Nov. 4 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Danielle, who received her medical degree from Tufts, is a chief resident in the internal-medicine residency program at Yale New Haven Hospital. Michael is a pediatric critical-care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. The couple met in 2012 at Springfield’s Baystate Medical Center, where the groom was completing his intern year and the bride her third-year medical-school rotation in pediatrics.

SHABBAT SHALOM: President Ron Liebowitz and his wife, Jessica, hosted a Shabbat dinner for 125 in Stockholm during Nobel Week in December. The group included Brandeis’ two Nobel Prize winners, Michael Rosbash, the Peter Gruber Endowed Chair in Neuroscience, and Jeff Hall, professor emeritus of biology, and their families, as well as Sweden-based alumni, members of the Stockholm Jewish community, members of the Sweden-America Foundation and two current Brandeis undergraduates studying in Stockholm.
