In April, Jennifer Adler celebrates the 10th anniversary of her freelance graphic-design/communications business, Survival By Design, and her greeting card company, Survival By Design Cards. She writes, “Not too bad for a philosophy major.” Jason Porth was named vice president for university enterprises at San Francisco State University, a newly formed division focused on creating spaces and opportunities that support the university’s mission. Jason began working at San Francisco State in 2006 as associate director for community relations in the Office of Government Relations. In 2009, he joined the Office of the President and became executive director of UCorp in 2014.
