Robin Cohen was appointed director of the Beth Emeth Early Childhood Center, in Herndon, Virginia. Previously, she was the center’s curriculum director. Chris Edelson is assistant professor of government at American University. His research focuses on presidential power under the U.S. Constitution. He’s writing a book examining the threat the Trump administration poses to constitutional democracy and the rule of law. Jessica Berman Kaufman and Joshua Michael Kaufman, P’21, celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in October, two months after dropping son Zachary '21 off at Brandeis for his freshman year. Son Noah is in the 10th grade. Jessica is an assistant attorney general in Maryland representing the state’s Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in litigation matters. Josh is director for evaluation and impact assessment in the U.S. Global Development Lab, part of the U.S. Agency for International Development.
