Mary Grant, Heller PhD’00, is president of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, in Boston. Mary, who was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and grew up in Weymouth, formerly served as chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Dev Gopalan, IBS MA’03, is CEO of Angel Island Capital, an alternative credit adviser based in San Francisco. He was formerly with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, where he served as head of U.S. private credit. Radhika Subramanian, PhD’07, is a 2017 NIH Director’s New Innovator Award recipient. She is an assistant professor in Massachusetts General Hospital’s Department of Molecular Biology and Harvard Medical School’s Department of Genetics. Radhika did her doctoral research in the lab of Jeff Gelles, the Aron and Imre Tauber Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Brandeis. Deborah Jean Parsons, Heller MA’08, PhD’12, was named director of integrated care at South Shore Mental Health, in Quincy, Massachusetts. She has 25 years of experience in mental health, social services and health care with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, Signature Healthcare and the Association for Behavioral Healthcare. Anthony Stockard, MFA’08, has served as director of Norfolk State University’s theater company for the past three years. The Virginia school recently constructed a $60 million theater complex.
