“Uncle Oscar,” a comedic pilot written by Rafi Abramowitz and his two brothers, won Best Pilot/ Webseries at the Laughlin International Film Festival. The movie is about a former child actor desperate to regain his fame by doing the only thing he can’t do: act. On Aug. 19, Danielle Gross and Luke Hayslip got engaged at a sloth habitat in Florida. The couple lives together in New Jersey with their 2-year-old Labrador rescue dog, Penelope. Luke works at Princeton HealthCare, and Danielle is employed by Bristol-Myers Squibb. Both of them are pursuing master’s degrees. Alex Kwatcher recently got engaged to the love of his life, Hannah Brooks ’16.
