Residence Hall Construction News

January 26, 2017

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

As we begin the site work for the construction of Brandeis’ new residence hall, we will be installing fencing around the site on Monday, January 30.

This is the first step in the building plan, presented last year, for replacing part of the Castle complex with a new residence hall. Please see the site plan, which shows the location of the fencing. The site fencing will not affect access to Chum’s Coffee House.

The residence hall is scheduled to open in August 2018. It will be highly energy-efficient and accessible, and will include study spaces as well as rooms for campus events. Check back often at the project website for future updates on the construction timeline and the building design.
