Guitar Showcase: Ibanez Artcore AS53

The video features narration and performances in three different musical genres by Student Support and Training Specialist, Ben Wechselblatt, class of 2027. Shot and produced by Daniel Oren, also class of 2027 and a fellow Support and Training Specialist, this video uses vibrant lighting, immersive dolly movement, and dynamic b-roll to create an engaging experience promoting SIMS resources.

2017 student film festival

2017 film festival featuring the work of SIMS student staff

This film exhibit put on in 2017 features the work of SIMS student staff. Every piece in this show is a response to a challenge. All of the contributors were asked to think about collisions between image and sound as departure points for their work. These videos rely on meticulously textured soundworlds in order to evoke points of view. Though our group project was to create an immersive experience, each contributor was given the freedom to pursue this goal in his or her own quirky way. We hope you enjoy the tonal and stylistic variety that has resulted.
