Image Editing and Graphic Design
Photoshop is our recommended all-purpose tool for image editing. You can use it for most any graphics project, whether it be designing a poster, touching up old photos, creating web graphics, or doing professional painting via a tablet.
Lightroom is a useful tool for adjusting exposure and applying filters to your raw camera footage—without having to learn Photoshop first. You can also work directly with your raw camera files; no import or conversion is necessary.
When you need vector-based design tools, Illustrator is the program to use. The program is very similar to Photoshop, making it easy to learn. Its vector format allows you to scale any illustrations you make with perfect clarity, making Illustrator ideal for logo design.
Adobe InDesign is the perfect program for poster and newsletter design. It combines many features of Illustrator and Photoshop, allowing you to work with both vector- and raster-based images.
