40th Reunion

Robert Dobrusin, the rabbi at Beth Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for 28 years, was named one of the 33 Most Inspiring Rabbis by the Forward. He has also completed his first book, “The Long Way Around: Stories and Sermons From a Life’s Journey.” Robert and wife Ellen have two children, Avi and Mickie. Though he has lived away from New England for many years, he wants to assure everyone he still is a passionate Red Sox and Patriots fan. Hannah Rachel Moore is director of philanthropy at Temple Rodef Shalom, outside Washington, D.C., where she reports she meets Brandeis grads “all the time.” Jeffrey Samet, MA’77, was named the first John Noble Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. He’s been on the faculty nearly 30 years, 15 of them as chief of general internal medicine.
