Becky Kupchan Berkman lives in Be’er Sheva, Israel, with her husband, Shie. They celebrated the birth of a baby boy in November. Yonit Bousany married Allison Harris on Aug. 6 at a Cumberland, Wisconsin, farm owned by Allison’s family. Yonit is a mathematics teacher at Boulder High School, in Colorado. She received a master’s degree in mathematics education from the University of Colorado. Jordan Faigen and David Zucker were married on June 4 in Princeton, New Jersey. A large number of Brandeis alumni were in attendance. Roee and Tiffany (Roberts) Gilron ’10 had a baby boy, Adam, in October. Roee finished his PhD at Tel Aviv University and started a postdoc conducting research on Parkinson’s disease at the University of California, San Francisco. Tiffany still works for Wix, which has offices in Tel Aviv and San Francisco. They enjoy being close to the mountains and snow again, and relish all the cycling that awaits them in the city. In May 2016, Noah Kaplan joined the real estate brokerage led by celebrity broker Ryan Serhant, from Bravo’s “Million-Dollar Listing.” Noah was invited to join the firm after Ryan learned of “Thousand-Dollar Listing,” a TV pilot Noah helped produce. Jess Kent, who served as a campaign manager during the 2016 New York election cycle, currently creates strategy for the corporate sector. She lives in Santa Monica, California, and chairs the Bold (Brandeisians of the Last Decade) chapter in Los Angeles. Benjamin Luxenberg graduated from Harvard Business School (HBS) and the Harvard Kennedy School in May. He accepted a one-year fellowship at the MBTA offered through HBS. Marissa “Missy” Mlotek married Zach Schonbrun on Sept. 4 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, New Jersey. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, H’96, Zach’s cousin, officiated, with Rabbi Avram Mlotek, Missy’s cousin, also taking part. Missy is a New York-based technology consultant. Leora Perkins and Matthew Goldstone ’07 are engaged to be married this summer. Leora is a third-year rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, in New York City. Matthew is a PhD candidate in his final year at New York University’s Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies. Yael Rooks Rapport married David Moser on Sept. 18 at a dairy farm in New Marlborough, Massachusetts. Yael is the assistant rabbi at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, a New York City synagogue for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Jews. She received a master’s degree in Hebrew literature and a rabbinical degree from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York. Her parents, Joe Rapport and Gaylia Rooks ’79, P’09, are both rabbis. Bryan Wexler, who will graduate from the rabbinical school at the Jewish Theological Seminary, in Manhattan, serves as the rabbinic intern at the Park Avenue Synagogue. His wife, Rebecca Sturgis Wexler ’11, graduated from Columbia’s School of Nursing. On Aug. 10, they welcomed twins Meyer Aaron and Gabrielle Hadar. Bryan writes, “Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”
