Sarah Copel has completed two internships at Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida, where she worked with rescued cougars, bobcats and other exotic cats. Since graduation, she has also worked with sea lions at the New York Aquarium, and at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a nonprofit organization that trains dogs to assist people with poor vision and autism. Miriam Fink will enroll in veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. Since graduation, she has worked as a technician at La Jolla Veterinary Hospital, in San Diego. Tasneem Islam is one of seven Brandeis alumni pursuing advanced degrees at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. The others are Eli Terris ’11, Ellen Abramowitz ’11, Aaron Lefland ’13, Caitlin Chiquelin ’13, Steven Patriarco ’08 and Ben Rifkin ’12. She writes, “When not studying, we reminisce about the good ol’ days at the ’Deis.”
