Mandatory Financial Conflict of Interest Training
All investigators funded by the Public Health Service or an agency that has adopted the PHS financial conflict of interest policy must take FCOI training prior to the disbursement of funds.
Brandeis offers a convenient, customized online training program through the University of Miami's Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program. This course must be completed within a reasonable period of time prior to disbursement of funds and engagement in research, and at least every four years thereafter.
Note: The module Conflicts of Interest in Research Involving Human Subjects within the Training in Human Subjects Research course does not satisfy this requirement. You must complete the Training in Financial Conflicts of Interest course to satisfy the PHS requirement.
