Ceremony Information
The Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement Ceremonies each will last about 2.5 hours. They will include remarks by featured student speakers, invited guests, and university officials. Degrees will be conferred and students will cross the stage as their names are read.
Undergraduates who have completed an August 2023 or February 2024 degree, or who are enrolled in Spring 2024 and are anticipating a May 2024 or summer or fall 2024 degree, are eligible to participate and will be invited to register participation during the spring semester.

Undergraduate Schedule for Commencement Day

| 7:30 a.m. | Formation of Undergraduate Academic Procession All graduating seniors attending the 9 a.m. ceremony must line up for the academic procession at the exterior tunnel entrance (near the baseball field) of the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. After lining up, the procession will enter Gosman for the main ceremony. |
| 9 – 11:30 a.m. | Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony The ceremony will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and will feature conferral of both earned and honorary degrees, the Commencement address, and the featured student speaker. All participating graduates will be presented individually and walk across the stage. Please advise your guests that tickets are required and must be presented for admission into the arena (through the main doors on the arena level). We recommend that guests arrive well in advance to allow time to enter and find seating. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. Note: Doors will close promptly at 8:50 a.m. to allow room for the academic procession. Doors will reopen following the conclusion of the procession at approximately 9:20 a.m. |

During the ceremonies, photography will be permitted from your seats or designated areas only. For the safety and sightlines of guests and participants we appreciate your cooperation in not blocking aisles or walkways.
