The Brandeis commitment to social justice and academic inquiry provides the foundation for this seminar. Working interdepartmentally, Brandeis faculty and staff have created an experience that balances social awareness with academic rigor.
ToggleHow is this different than other LGBTQIA+ summer programs?
While other youth programs are adept at addressing identity formation and social development, this new program provides an academic lens for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies, which gives them the chance to better understand their histories and shape their futures.
ToggleWhat if I don’t identify as queer, can I still apply?
You are welcome to apply to participate in this program no matter how you identify! So long as you have a commitment to and interest in queer issues and furthering progress.
