Visiting Other Libraries
Brandeis is a member of several consortia and programs that allow Brandeis community members to visit libraries locally and throughout the country.
As a member of the Boston Library Consortium, current Brandeis University students, faculty, and staff may visit and borrow books and other materials from other BLC institutions as long as they present an active BLC borrowing card and a Brandeis ID. You must obtain a BLC card before visiting another library.
Harvard University has more than 100 libraries, and each one has its own rules for on-site use. Before visiting a Harvard library, be sure to consult the appropriate library's website to see if and how you can gain access. Please also see Visiting Libraries at Harvard.
