Nicole Friedman gave birth to Oliver Daye Leung on Aug. 15, 2018. Maxime Houinato, MA’96, recently moved to Kampala, Uganda, with his family. For the past decade, he has worked with U.N. Women — as deputy regional director for West Africa, as country representative in Mali and now as country representative in Uganda. Amelia Márquez de Pérez, PhD’96, MA’97, is the coordinator of a sustainable-development observatory at the University of Panama, where she works on research projects, community education and the publication of an annual magazine.
