Sidney Boorstein enjoys traveling, playing the piano, taking classes, playing poker, rowing and swimming. Alan Rubin loves life in California, where he has lived for 50 years. Over the past three years, his garden has yielded more than 250 pounds of fruit for the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Ann Leder Sharon, P’88, wants to thank the classmates who visited her in New Jersey last summer while she recuperated from a broken femur. She says her Brandeis friends are her closest friends, no matter how near or far they live. Martin Wiener and wife Meri retired in June 2019 after 51 and 40 years, respectively, of teaching at Rice University. They bought an apartment on New York City’s Upper West Side, where they plan to live from May to October each year.
