This year, Andrew Ambraziejus will celebrate the publication of the first two novels of his young-adult series “The Pizza Chronicles” by NineStar Press. In 2019, Daniel and Deborah Fins celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary alongside many Brandeis friends as well as the marriage of their son, Eric. Deb plans to get together with her former Brandeis roommates for a special weekend. Edwin Maltzman and wife Rachelle welcomed the birth of their grandson, Ariel Yehudah. The new arrival joins siblings Samuel William, Miriam Zelda and Ben-Zion. Joshua and Sara Maltzman are the proud parents. David Orentlicher has joined the faculty of the William S. Boyd School of Law, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he teaches health and constitutional law. He is a candidate for a seat in the Nevada legislature, running with the endorsement of the Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus. Ellen Pollock joined The New York Times as business editor in 2017. Her tenure briefly overlapped with that of her husband, Barry Meier, who retired from the newspaper as a reporter after 28 years. Formerly, Ellen had stints at Bloomberg Businessweek and The Wall Street Journal. Her daughter is a senior at Bates College. Carin Roth remains actively involved in real estate on Fire Island, New York; her children manage the construction portion of the business. She says she would love to hear from fellow Brandeisians. Ruth Seidenfeld is retired and loves living in Delray Beach, Florida, five minutes away from her 1-year-old granddaughter.
