Leah Carnow and Yoni Battat ’13, who met in the Brandeis a cappella group Company B, were married on Aug. 25. They live in Boston, where Leah is in her first year of rabbinical school at Hebrew College and Yoni is a freelance musician. Jordan Hinahara is a senior manager at Boston Healthcare Associates, a life sciences and market access consultancy. She credits her career success to Brandeis’ Health: Science, Society and Policy program; regularly recruits new hires and interns from the program; and leads a case challenge at Brandeis each semester as part of an experiential learning course. Amber Kornreich was recognized by Best Lawyers as one of the Best Lawyers for Family Law in America. Amy Melser married Torrey Fishman in Brooklyn in October. Stacey Frisch, Alisa Wecker, Melanie Shapiro and Andrea Stern ’14 were bridesmaids, and many other Brandeis friends were in attendance. Tess Raser celebrated her 30th birthday in Los Angeles with longtime Brandeis friends. After nearly 10 years of living in Boston, Jeremy Weinberg is now associate director of student conduct and community standards at Columbia University. He became engaged to Sarah Gurvis, MAT’15, in November.
