Orlando Isaza has been appointed by the Most Rev. Mitchell T. Rozanski, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts, to the strategic planning task force of the Office of Safe Environment and Victim Assistance, a department that oversees clergy sexual abuse allegations. Robert Panoff has been appointed to a three-year term on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council, a public forum for IRS officials and the public to discuss tax administration issues. Bob is a civil and criminal tax litigator in Miami, a past chair of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and a recipient of the section’s Gerald T. Hart Outstanding Tax Attorney of the Year Award. Greg Prestopino reports he is still working and loving it — along with a cocktail at day’s end. He is married to Carol Locatell. Greg would love to hear from any and all Brandeis friends. Norm Winer is celebrating the birth of his first grandchild, Jack, who was born in July 2019 to daughter-in-law Liz and son Joe. The proud father is receiving his PhD in neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley, this spring. Norm is a member of the committee planning the Year of Chicago Music 2020, a nonprofit project highlighting the city’s musical stature and legacy.
