In November, Alan Cohen married his partner of more than 18 years, Robert Bank, at B’nai Jeshurun, in New York City. Alan is chief program officer at Jewish Association Serving the Aging, a social service agency that helps older adults stay in their homes and communities. Robert is president and chief executive officer of American Jewish World Service. Yaron Dori was elected to a four-year term on the management committee at law firm Covington & Burling, where he practices in communications, data-privacy and consumer-protection law. Yaron is also serving a two-year term as an at-large member of the Brandeis Alumni Association board of directors. He and wife Erica Dominitz, who live in Bethesda, Maryland, have two children, Rachel and Joshua. Jill Fischer Shinderman is completing her second year of the Learning Sciences Exchange fellowship, a partnership among the International Congress on Infant Studies, New America and the Jacobs Foundation. Jill is developing a line of evidence-based children’s books designed to cultivate attachment, enrich parenting practices and improve child outcomes.
