Shayne Bergner Gotman advocates for the reproductive rights of women in Israel, where she lives with her husband and five children. She teaches about birth as a human rights issue, and seeks to ensure all women have access to safe and affordable health care. She hopes to meet up with other Brandeisians who live in or visit Israel. Alice Horowitz, who has had a nearly 20-year real estate career, is an agent at Houlihan Lawrence. She lives in Larchmont, New York. Sidney Levinson has joined Debevoise & Plimpton as a partner and co-chair of the firm’s restructuring group. He previously worked at Jones Day. Judy Linden is professor of emergency medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. She is also executive vice chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center. Judy and husband Stephen own three (soon to be four) Ben & Jerry’s ice cream franchises. The couple and their three sons live in Natick, Massachusetts. Frances Short Langum is celebrating 10 years as co-host and executive producer of the weekly political podcast “The Professional Left.” She’s also associate editor of the Crooks and Liars blog. Ken Snyder moved from Boston to Newport, Rhode Island, last year. He looks forward to expanding his real estate practice to include clients in Boston, Newport and the coastal Rhode Island area. Laurie Solomon, who retired from a 21-year career as global director of risk management at the Coca-Cola Co., is now an independent consultant, assisting companies with overall risk thinking and approach, risk strategy implementation, and risk and insurance program management. She enjoys her new work-life balance, which allows for trips to Kenya and Tanzania.
